Welcome to Brentwood

Opulent neighborhood with beautifully designed homes, green spaces, and a thriving dining scene

Brentwood, an affluent community on Los Angeles's west side, strikes the perfect balance between suburban sophistication and metropolitan convenience. It is located on the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains and features large, private homes, chic boutiques, and fine dining restaurants. It's a quiet haven for locals and integral to the Los Angeles area's cultural landscape.

Brentwood is not merely home to the most beautiful and expensive houses on the Westside of Los Angeles but also some of the city's wealthiest residents. In addition to the real estate itself, the area's restaurants and shopping make it a desirable spot to call home.

Local Lifestyle

The wealthy Westside community of Brentwood features many housing options, including impressive mansions, single-family homes, and apartment complexes. This neighborhood is peaceful and primarily residential. However, San Vicente Boulevard, the city's major thoroughfare, is lined with businesses and retail establishments.

Due to its proximity to UCLA, this area attracts a diverse population of young professionals, families, and anyone looking for a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Additionally, Brentwood is a center for arts and entertainment. Magnificent American and European artworks are displayed in The Getty’s expansive gardens. The Skirball Cultural Center is conveniently located nearby and organizes various events throughout the year.

Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping

Brentwood Country Mart is a food and shopping destination that dates back to 1948. The Mart has free parking and outdoor dining space with a fire pit in the center. There are numerous shops and restaurants to choose from in The Mart. The Brentwood Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, and it's a great place to unwind before the week begins. This weekend-only pop-up market has everything you need for a picnic on the beach or a quick meal at home, including fresh fruit from local farmers, flowers, and prepared foods.

Brentwood is home to several notable casual and fine dining establishments. Head to Winston Pies for the best pies in Brentwood. The fruit pies are made from scratch and produced with organic ingredients from the local farmers' market whenever possible. In 2017, master pizzaiolo Daniele Uditi established Pizzana on San Vicente, and it soon became a favorite among pizza fans across Los Angeles. This Neapolitan-style restaurant uses a two-day proofed dough to create a thin crust and deliciously soft pie.

For brunch and a possible celeb sighting, head to Farmshop. This restaurant makes quintessential brunch food and has an attached marketplace where you can shop for everything you need for a gourmet meal. Other notable restaurants in Brentwood include Shutters Brasserie, Bar Toscana, Baltaire, Burger Lounge, and Amandine Patisserie Cafe.

Things to Do

Visit Marsh Creek State Historic Park if you're looking for a great place to go hiking in Brentwood. More than 3,000 acres of wilderness await discovery at this historic park. As a bonus, the John Marsh House is a historical landmark in the park that you can visit and study.

A good pit stop for any golf fan is the Brentwood Golf Club. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to try their hand at any of the club's over 25 holes. In addition to the main golf course, there is a practice area for those who want to hone their skills before taking on the course's more challenging holes. If you enjoy wine, you should make a trip to the Hannah Nicole Vineyards. Whether you're interested in wine tasting or seeing a vineyard that spans over 50 acres, this vineyard has you covered. There are also movie screenings and concerts at this winery.

Do you love nature? Head to the Round Valley Regional Preserve, where you can find trails of varying difficulty and length.
